Over 4 decades of combined manufacturing experience enable us to cater to globally acclaimed brands:
1973 - Hugo Streegan started trading Rattan Poles.
1975 - Develop the 1st Rattan collection under Campagnia delle Filippine founded by B&B Italia.
1976 - Opened the 1st Factory and began manufacturing wicker & rattan furniture.
1980 - PTMC established strong relationships in markets of the United States Japan, Europe, and Hong Kong.
1982 - Woodworking operations started to surface and mixed up with rattan materials in creating more versatile furniture.
1985 - The birth of the B&B Italia S Series designed by Architect Antonio Citterio.
1985 - PTMC receives 16th Golden Shell Award in Outstanding performance in the export sector awarded by the Philippine Government.
1986 - The first PTMC affiliate is created, Worldmark Furnitures was incorporated to specialize in the manufacture of wrought iron furniture It also produces a wide range of furniture using a mixture of wood, rattan, wicker and veneer.
1990 - Veneering Capabilities: Magellan Veneer Corporation, was established to produce and supply veneer lamination for the furniture industry.
1994 - Horizon International (HIMI) was incorporated to expand woodworking facility and answer the increasing woodworking production.
1996 - PTMC is recognized as the 4th Biggest Exporter in the district of Mandaue awarded by the Department of Finance, Mandaue City, Cebu.
1999 - Bato International Corporation was incorporated to produce hardware and accessories responding to the high demand of the market and its affiliates.
2000 - Bernice S. Montenegro grabs Estilo Award for Best Product Design, given by Cebu Furniture Industries Foundation, (CFIF) during the Cebu Furniture Show.
2002 - Hugo Streegan wins ``PERLAS Award`` which aims to give recognition to deserving individuals and institutions, who in one way or another, have made a difference in the community by their leadership, involvement and achievement.
2004 - Tropicale Reflection was launched as the research and design arm for PTMC's furniture accessories. Specializing in Silver, metal works and natural materials like shells.
2007 - William Sonoma Home recognizes PTMC as their Vendor of the year for both Furniture and Decorative accessories.
2010 - Best exhibit award, Bedroom Furniture awarded by the International Furniture Fair Singapore ``IFFS`` during the 27th Asean Furniture Show.
PTMC expands to Semarang, Indonesia. Factory 2 is a two-hectare facility that houses state of the art equipment and machinery. This enabled us to combine tradition with innovation. Today, we are not only capable of proposing furniture characterized by a high level of customization, but also marrying the values of designing solutions in tune with different international requirements.
